Sealing and bonding are the most common adhesive treatment processes. The sealing process fills or covers seams, holes or gaps with glue to prevent the penetration or leakage of liquids, gases, dust and other substances, and at the same time may take into account the functions of vibration damping, insulation and so on. Bonding, on the other hand, is the process of firmly combining two materials by means of glue to form a structural or non-structural connection, replacing the traditional mechanical fixing method. The steps of sealing and bonding usually include surface preparation of the workpiece, glue application, curing, and testing. Common sealing and structural adhesives include silicone, epoxy, polyurethane and other materials.
